Trends can go from best to worst to bizarre, the world has witnessed unusual trends over the years and it is pretty normal. When it comes to trends, it is not just about what most people are wearing these days, but also what they eat, what they do, and what they say.

When it comes to fashion trends, it is not just about the clothes or the shoes, it is also about the accessories that go with the overall look. Accessories though include one thing in particular, and that is how the hair is done.

DNA BRAID TUTORIAL!!! Starting off with 3 strands, the middle one being smaller then the others as that will be a stationary strand. When taking a strand from left side you are going over that section, under the middle and adding to right side then taking a small section from right side is then brought under and then over the middle section and added to left section. Make sure your being consistent with that pattern, the braid naturally starts to twist towards left as you go down so you have to keep it tight while braiding or else it will become more difficult. Small sections are always better, they make the braid look more intricate. It’s always hard to fit a tutorial in 1 minute so I may post slower/longer one on IGTV! Happy Braiding 😀💗 . . . #behindthechair @behindthechair_com #modernsalon @modernsalon #americansalon @american_salon @hair.video #hairvideo #beyondtheponytail #beautylaunchpad #hotonbeauty @hotonbeauty @evahairofficial @hair.videos @hairvideoshow #tutorial #braids #dnabraid #hairgoals #hairofinstagram #stylistssupportingstylists #samvilla #hairinspo #hairinspo @mastersofbraids @hairvideosbystylists

Over the past couple of years, there have been so man hairstyle trends, especially all over social media. It is either a new hairstyle, new hair color, or new haircut that just come in and out of style. This time around there is a kind of braid that is breaking the internet, and it is known as the DNA braid.

DNA Braid Is Breaking The Internet

This braid is actually from last year, but it is never too late to actually make it into the top trends list. More and more people are trying it and they are literally all over Instagram, and we all now that if it is literally taking over social media, then it is definitely a trend worth talking about and worth trying.

This DNA braid has gone viral indeed and almost everyone wants to try and recreate this look. Based on some tutorials on YouTube, it is actually a lot less complicated than it looks, all you would need is a hair tie and that’s it.

It is easy that you could do it on your own in front of a mirror. Some say that it is in fact really complicated that you have to make sure to watch very closely on the tutorial when trying it, but then again, it is always difficult at first.

Then again, just when you thought that it is the coolest thing to try this summer, people on Instagram have been taking this DNA braid to an entirely new level. That is because they are adding a lot more colors to their hairs to make this braid even trendier. Pastel colors are totally in and those who have ash blonde hair are putting in some colors to their hair in order to achieve this look.

Hairstylists definitely recommend this new trendy braid especially for those who are looking into trying different braids. It is definitely unusually and not similar to the old school fishtail, French braid, waterfall, or cornrow.

It is not a style that you would see every day, for those who are starting school in some countries, this is also ideal. For this who are still enjoying their summer break, then you’ll have lots of spare time to actually practice on perfecting this incredible new braid either by yourself or to a friend. It is also a time for weddings and out of town trips so your hair would be picture- perfect ready with this braid.

DNA Braiding Technique

The DNA braid will definitely leave onlookers “shook” when they see it on you. This is even approved by hairstylists like Alexandra Wilson. She said that she has been doing numerous braids for years, and she has indeed seen this one before became viral these past few days. In an interview, she said that it actually takes her about 45 minutes to do the DNA braid, but that is for a long and thick hair. However, that timeframe is for someone who has been doing braids most of her life as a career.

She believes that it is an easy technique that literally everybody could learn but it is definitely time-consuming. It is best to actually give it a try when you’re not doing anything, and it is not very ideal to try it when you’re about to go or an event or some sort.

This is because it takes time and practice, which is like almost every braid, but then this one is not like any other classic braids. It definitely looks incredibly tricky to do especially if you are not exactly a big fan of doing braids. Wilson posted some pictures on her Instagram to showcase this amazing braid.
